Post-surgery pics

Stiches come out tomorrow, so I'll post some more photos then! I've been trying to get him to smile, but he stops as soon as the camera comes out. It's very cute, still a little lopsided so he looks very cheeky!
The dressing on his nose is to keep the nasal stents in. They're like little straws in his nose to make a nice shape. He gets a free nose job when he's older if he doesn't like it! Sweet!

Back at home, swelling has come down. The things on his arms are arm splints to stop him from putting things in his mouth and tearing the wound.

Day after surgery... more swelling!

Lachie is just waking up from the general anesthetic. He's pretty swollen.

Blog looks good Jane-o!
He has always been a real cutie and I love him heaps and mobs. As for his mum and dad...I am so very proud of them for the strength, committment, patience and the love they show for Lachie and his beautiful big brother Caleb.
Oh guys he looks great. What a beautiful, happy little man. It is so amazing what they can do. I must admit I have never seen one before surgery until now...quite a shock really. He has been through so much in his short little life...he is going to be an amazing little guy...destined for big things...good luck with your recovery baby Lachie and love & hugs to you all. Hope to catch up very soon. Chris, Jodie, Journey & Elysium
Wow guys! He looks great! but surgery or not it was always that special light in his eyes when he smiled at you that captured all our hearts. There are no two parents in the world that could have shown more courage, love and dedication for each other and the boys, and I believe that so many other families can benefit from the openess and honesty you have shared through such difficult and emotional times. I know that lachie will grow up to be a person with great strength and confidence in himself, because of you.
well done and kisses better for lachie. Kyls.
